Turkish clubs are lining up to fight for Watford striker Stefano Okaka’s signature as Besiktas have joined Bursaspor in the race.
Reports say Besiktas want the 29-year-old, who has made just three substitute appearances for the Hornets in all competitions this season, but they could face some local competition.
Bursaspor were heavily linked with the Italy international in the summer and are being tipped to renew their interest next month when the transfer window opens and it seems a loan move initially before a permanent switch afterwards is on the cards.
Besiktas may have moved to the front of the queue, however, with their more illustrious history and the fact they currently sit third in Turkey’s top flight, compared to Bursaspor’s 10th-place position.
Okaka joined the Hornets from Anderlecht in August 2016 and has managed five goals in 39 appearances to date.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
