Okey Bakassi Backs Arsenal Against United, Davido In Dilemma; Wizkid Roots For Liverpool

By Izuchukwu Okosi:

Nigeria star comedian and actor Okechukwu Mc Anthony Onyegbule better known in the entertainment industry as Okey Bakassi has tipped Arsenal to do a double over Manchester United this season as the race for the Barclays Premier League title continues.

The Red Devils and the Gunners will be in action on Sunday afternoon at the Old Trafford and the multi talented entertainer in his brief analysis of the Super Sunday clash considers Arsene Wenger's team the favourites to win the contest.

"Arsenal have a 'duty' to defeat Manchester United because United have often defeated them.

"The first leg of this game ended in a 3-0 victory for Arsenal and considering the number of United players out with injury for the second leg, that could play into the hands of Arsenal.

"However, whether Louis Van Gaal have the luxury of his key players or not, a victory is a victory. Yes, the Champions League defeat to Barcelona will spur Arsenal to go for a win,"  the lead actor in the thriller 'Onye Ozi' (The Messenger) told Completesportsnigeria.com

Afropop singer, rapper and producer, David Adedeji-Adeleke better known as Davido was indifferent about the outcome of the result, though he expects an interesting game between the Premier League arch rivals.

"Any of the teams can win. The game is between two great clubs in England and whenever their match comes up, it brings excitement.

"Man United may win, Arsenal may win as well. But the thing is Arsenal disappoint when you least expect while United have not fared well. Goodluck to the winner," the Aye and Dami Duro crooner said.

Meanwhile Ayo Balogun who goes by the stage name, Wizkid, though told Completesportsnigeria.com he is now known as 'Wiz Baba' tasks his darling Premier League club, Liverpool, to lift the Capital One Cup against Manchester City at Wembly Sunday evening.

"Wow, we have a big final on Sunday against Manchester City.

"I do not usually find the time to watch some of Liverpool's matches but I shall watch this one. City will be hard to beat but we have history on our side, so I expect a win," Wizkid told Completesportsnigeria.com.

The Manchester United versus Arsenal game kicks off 3.05pm while the Capital One Cup (League Cup) final between Liverpool and Manchester City kicks off 5.30pm; all Nigerian time on Sunday
