Nigerian defender James Okwuosa has penned a two-year contract with South African side Chippa United, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The centre-back who joined Chippa United from Nigeria Professional Football League side Enugu Rangers in 2012 was rumoured to be on his way to another Absa Premiership club Orlando Pirates following the expiration of his contract at the end of last season.
He has now made a U-turn and will now remain with the club for another two years.
”We can confirm that James Okwuosa is back at CUFC, having signed a two-year contract,” the club wrote on their official Twitter handle on Friday.
Chippa also have another Nigerian, goalkkeeper Daniel Akpeyi, in their squad.
Okwuosa has been capped three times by Nigeria.
