Super Eagles striker Kayode Olanrewaju is confident he will surpass his best league goals tally of 13 for Austrian Wein this season, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Olanrewaju bagged a brace to equal his league goals tally for last season in his side's win 4-1 win over Strum Graz on Saturday.
The brace also took Olanrewaju's total to 20 goals in all competitions this season.
The 23 year old forward told Completesportsnigeria.com he is pleased with his heroics in the encounter but is eager to help his side push for the title with five games left in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Austrian Wein are 13 points adrift of league leaders Salzburg with 56 points from 31 games.
"I'm pleased with the goals but I want to score more to help my team," he told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"Everytime I step onto the pitch I pray to score always and I hope to surpass my record of last season."
Olanrewaju is expected to keep his place in the Super Eagles squad for the forthcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations preliminary round clash against South Africa.
