The widow of late Super Eagles midfielder Thompson Oliha, Iris Oliha, has thanked every Nigerian who was supportive of her family after the demise of her husband.
Complete Sports received a text message from the appreciative widow on Tuesday morning which read: “Yesterday (June 30) marked a year that my husband Thompson Oliha passed on. I want to use this medium to say a big thank you for all your assistance both in kind, prayers, messages, care, financial assistance and whatever help you rendered to me and my children at our time of grief.
“May God bless you all. –Iris Thompson Oliha.”
Thompson Oliha, who was a member of the Super Eagles squad that represented Nigeria at USA ’94 World Cup was always willing to grant Complete Sports interviews when he was alive including at his Festac, Lagos home.
“I am always ready to talk to Complete Sports, my friend,” the one-time Bendel Insurance schemer once told Complete Sports.
