Impressed by his team's sterling performance against the Mena of Niger Republic here at the African Nations Championship in Kigali on Monday, Super Eagles manager Sunday Oliseh has lauded his players for but warned against complacency in their subsequent games.
Fielding questions from reporters after the match, Oliseh described Super Eagles' performance on the night as near perfect, adding that there is still room for improvement.
The former Borrussia Dortmund star posited that his team would be not carried away with the win, rather, he will instruct his players to approach every game as the final.
He added that his game plan which places much emphasis on taking one game at a time remains unchanged but would keep working until Super Eagles become the pride of every Nigerian.
“The performance tonight was perfect and I am really impressed with my players," Oliseh said.
“We won’t get carried away with the win.
“We are already looking forward to the our next game and we will approach each game one at a time.”
