Oliseh “Extremely Delighted” As Fortuna Sittard Win, Go Top

By James Agberebi:
Fortuna Sittard’s Nigerian head coach Sunday Oliseh has expressed his delight following his club’s 4-2 away win against Den Bosch in the Dutch second division on Friday.

Fortuna went to the top in the league table after securing their third straight away win in the league.

Dries Saddiki gave Fortuna the perfect start when he opened scoring in the fifth minute.

Djibril Dianessy doubled their lead four minutes later before Niek Vossebelt pulled a goal back for Den Bosch on 53 minutes.

In the 66th minute, Lisandro Semedo restored Fortuna’s two-goal advantage.

With five minutes remaining Dennis Kaars scored to bring score to 3-2 but Dianessy scored his second goal to ensure Fortuna win 4-2 and claim the three points.

“Extremely delighted at our 2-4 victory vs Den Bosch, fifth victory in a row and sends us top of the league. God does really work in his own way,” Oloseh wrote on Twitter.

Fortuna lead the league standings on 38 points, one point ahead of second-placed NEC Nijmegen who have a game in hand.

  • Oliseh is making a name for himself in the Dutch second division league. isn’t he? Rejected at home but doing great exploits elsewhere.

    • Nobody rejected oliseh, instead he made a great mistake of removing the national team captain, and gave it to a wrong player. Am sure he learnt his lesson, nevertheless we wish him well in his job.

    • Managing super Eagles is way too big compared to a second division club

    • The same spirit of boss that ended their Eagle’s dream. We wish him well

  • Am loving this, what a way to go…. I hope he wins the league

The commotion this guy caused in our National team is still vibrating since his exit. He was living in Europe most of the time. His management skills was called into question back then
