Oliseh: How Champions League Final Will Be Won And Lost

By Johnny Edward:
Former Super Eagles captain and coach Sunday Oliseh believes Real Madrid stand a big chance of landing a third UEFA Champions League title by defeating Liverpool but adds they will have to do it the hard way by stopping the trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firimino and Saido Mane, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

The trio have scored 29 goals between them this season in the Champions League and the former Fortuna Sittard coach opines that starving the Reds trio is the only way out for the champions.

“We are in for a great game from two great attacking teams,” Oliseh said during his preview of the game for CSN.

“They both have their strength but Real will be stopping the trio of Salah, Firimino and Mane. But for Liverpool they have to stop virtually the build-up of Real Madrid every time their creative players get on the ball.

“It’s going to be very tough for Liverpool but if they can stifle Real like they did with Manchester City and AS Roma coupled with a bit of luck, they stand a chance as well.

“The game will be decided with little details and moment of brilliance. I look forward to a great game.

Oliseh whose career took him through Belgium, Holland, Germany, and Italy, refused to call the game.

“All I can tell you is that it will be explosive. Predicting the game, both team stands a good chance,” he added.

Finally Salah was stopped, Liverpool downed. Devilish Ramos won the game, not Bale’s strikes nor keepers errors.
