Oliseh, Loscuito Spy On Guinea

By David Meshioye & Adeboye Amosu in Kigali:

Super Eagles gaffer Sunday Oliseh and assistants opted to skip their 7pm dinner on Friday to spy on Nigeria's next opponent Guinea as they took on The Mena of Niger, Completesportsnigeria.com.

Oliseh had tinkered Super Eagles to a 1-1 draw with The Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in the earlier match of the day, but rather than head for the team’s Hillview Hotel, the former Juventus midfielder ordered his backroom staff to stay behind and watch the epic encounter.

The essence of his decision Completesportsnigeria.com can report, is to see Nigeria’s next opponents Guinea closely and come up with the right tactics that will guarantee Super Eagles qualification  when both teams meet on Tuesday next week.

Nigeria need a draw against The Syli Stars of Guinea to top Group C and remain in Kigali for the quarter-finals while a win for Guinea will automatically ensure their passage to the quater-finals.

Oliseh who was welcomed into the VIP section of the Kigali Regional Stadium by African football legend Roger Milla, was full of smiles at the end of the encounter as both teams settled for a 2-2 draw on Friday night.

Nigeria still occupy the top spot with four points and are followed by Guinea and Tunisia with two points while Niger lies bottom with one points.

It remains to be seen how coach Sunday Oliseh and his four musketeers intend to work on information gained from the Syli national barely four day before the epic clash at new ground in Ribavu
