It was a game of two halves for Sunday Oliseh's Fortuna Sittard as they fought back from two goals deficit to hold home side, FC Dordrecht, to a 2-2 draw in a Dutch Jupiler League match at the Riwal Hoogwerkers Stadium on Friday night, Completesportsnigeria.com reports
The draw was the fourth both teams have played in their last 15 encounters.
First half goals from Alvin Daniels and Joris Kramer gave the host a 2-0 lead into the break, but second half strikes from the boots of Finn Stokkers and Roald van Hout ensured Oliseh's team earned a share of the spoil from the encounter that saw four yellow cards issued.
Oliseh whose team had recorded a win, draw and a loss prior to the game, saw his side struggle in the first half the game and were duly punished by the Dordrecht attackers.
Daniels gave the hosts the lead in the 11th minute and Kramer doubled the lead three minutes before the interval.
Fortuna Sittard dominated the second half. The introduction of Finn Stokkers for Sjoerd Ars and Roald van Hout in place of Djibril Dianessy brought about the needed fightback as the pair were on target for Sittard, in the 54th and 72nd minute respectively.
Nigerian born forward Junior Torunarigha was an unused substitute for the encounter.
Fortuna are now 17th in the Eerste Divisie log with 20 points from 23 games. They face fifth place Cambuur next Friday.
