Omagbemi: Falcons Can Retain AWCON Title

Super Falcons Head Coach, Florence Omagbemi, has stated that her team will do everything possible to retain their Africa Women's Cup of Nations title at this year's edition in Cameroon next month, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.‎

The Falcons are drawn in Group B along with Kenya, Ghana and Mali for this year's AWCON which runs from 19th November to 3rd December.


Although yet to have the full complement of the players, especially the foreign -based players who are yet to arrive camp, Omagbemi revealed that she was happy with the form of the team so far.

"I am impressed with the sessions I have had with the ladies since I got in," Omagbemi told thenff.com.

"It's a process and we just started. We want to build from where we stopped from the qualifiers because I still have the players we used to execute those
