Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo is in an ecstatic mood following his club, Alanyaspor's 3-1 win over his former club and Emem Eduok's club, Kasimpasa, in a Turkish Super League match on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Omeruo, a loanee from Chelsea, who played for Kasimpasa also on loan before joining Alanyaspor, featured for 90 minutes while Eduok was an unused substitute for the opponents..
Omeruo wrote on his Twitter handle on Sunday of his excitement.
"#alanyaspor 3-1 #kasimpasa.
"We keep going up. Great fight boys. And it was good to see my friends from Kasimpasa," the former youth international wrote and posted the message with a picture of him shaking hands with the players on bench of Kasimpasa.
Saturday's game at the Bahcesehir Okulları Arena was 20th of the season for Omeruo while Eduok has played 21 league games with three goals to his credit.
Omeruo has been yellow-carded six times this season, but the second Nigerian at the club Akeem Latifu, a defender, has not played any match in the 2016/2017 season.
