Kenneth Omeruo played all 90 minutes for Leganes who held Getafe to a 1-1 draw in a Spanish league derby between the southern Madrid clubs on Friday reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The game was Omeruo’s ninth straight start of the season in all competitions.
Uruguayan defender Leandro Cabrera headed Getafe in front in the 39th minute before Cameroonian right back Allan Nyom equalized for the home side from inside the area in the 64th.
Leganes had midfielder Ruben Perez sent off three minutes into injury time.
The result extended Leganes’ unbeaten streak to seven matches in all competitions. They occupy 16th spot and six points clear of the relegation zone ahead of this weekend matches.
Getafe on their part are sixth in the standings and have not lost an away match since a season-opening 2-0 defeat against Real Madrid.
In other fixtures on Saturday, leader Barcelona is at Espanyol in the Catalan derby while second-place Sevilla — which is one point behind — visits Valencia.
Also Saturday, third-place Atletico Madrid hosts fourth-place Alaves. Fifth-place Real Madrid visits last-place Huesca on Sunday.
In Germany, Jamilu Collins made his 16th Bundesliga 2 appearance for 0SC Paderborn 07 who lost 1-0 away to Hamburger SV1. Khaled Narey was the match winner for Hamburger SV1 in the 11th minute of the encounter.
Collins has not been cautioned so far this season in 18 games in all competition this season.
In Ukraine, Olarenwaju Kayode came on for Junior Moraes with ten minutes left to play in Shakhtar Donetsk’s 3-0 away win at Mariupol. The game was Kayode’s seventh in the Ukrainian Premier League this season and he is yet to score a goal.
