Kasimpasa defender Kenneth Omeruo has been named the vice-captain of the Super Eagles for the game against Tanzania on Saturday, completesportsnigeria.com has reliably scooped.
As reported earlier, Musa will lead the team in Sunday Oliseh’s first official game in Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Omeruo who barring any last minute hitch will partner William Troost-Ekong for the game has played in all three games in the Turkish league for Kasimpasa where he is on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
Omeruo played last season on loan at Middlesbrough. He is yet for feature for Chelsea since he joined in 2013.
