Kasimpasa's Nigerian defender Kenneth Omeruo has been ruled out for two weeks, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
Omeruo had to be replaced by Vasil Bozhikov just after nine minutes into Kasimpasa’s 1-1 home draw against Rizespor on Monday night due to a hamstring injury.
"He'll be out for a minimum of two weeks and that could extend depending on how fast he recovers fully and he's not happy about it having started the season in Turkey on a good note," a source close to Omeruo revealed to Completesportsnigeria.com.
Omeruo, who is on a season loan away from Chelsea for a third straight season, was listed by coach Sunday Oliseh for Nigeria's friendly matches against DR Congo and Cameroon in Belgium next month but has since been replaced by Celtic’s Efe Ambrose.
