Omeruo Relishes First Goal In Five Years

Alanyaspor defender, Kenneth Omeruo, is relishing scoring his first ever goal for the club in Saturday's 4-1 win over Adanaspor in th eTurkish League, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

Omeruo last scored a goal for both club and country five years ago in the colours of Dutch first division club, ADO Den Haag, as they lost 2-1 to VVV Venlo in 2012.

The Chelsea loanee has scored only four goals since the start of his career in 2009.

He admitted  via his Instagram wall that the goal was important to him.

"Important goal for me. Still Buzzing," Omeruo wrote via his Instagram wall.

Omeruo has played 16 times for Alanyaspor who are currently 14th in the Turkish first division table with 25 points from 22 games.
