Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo is looking forward to Alayaspor's league game on Saturday against Kayserispor that parade former Nigeria youth international Raheem Lawal, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Alayaspor are currently occupying the 13th position in the Turkish Super Lig with 34 points from 28 matches while Lawal's Kayserispor are two places behind in the 15th spot with 27 points in the table.
Omeruo has played 22 league matches for the Turkish outfit and has one goal to his credit while Lawal has scored two goals in ten league appearances this season.
Omeruo on his Twitter handle expressed his excitement to face fellow Nigerian at the Kadir Has Stadi home ground of the host team.
"Saturday we go again.. #alanyaspor vs #Kayseri. See you my bro @raheem_lawal ," Omeruo tweeted.
Omeruo also took a swipe at a media report in Nigeria (not in Completesportsnigeria.com) that he had been 'banned' by the Turkish Football Federation over accumulation of yellow cards.
The defender on loan from English Premier League leaders Chelsea bagged his seventh yellow card of the season in last weekend’s clash against Aminu Umar's Osmanlispor, a 90th minute yellow card and is therefore one card away from a suspension going into the match against Kayserispor.
"Whoever is writing in the media in Nigeria that I am banned by the Turkish Federation, please get your facts right.
"Stop getting my family worried upon reading your post.. #getyourfactsright ️Nigeria."
