Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, is thrilled with the outcome of Friday’s Spanish La Liga clash between his side, Leganes and their hosts, Celta Vigo which ended in a barren draw, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Omeruo played the entire 90 minutes of the game at the Abanca-Balaídos, Vigo.
The centre-back took to social media on Saturday to celebrate the feat which saw Leganes extend their unbeaten streak to eight games.
“Good to take one point From a difficult game.. 8 games unbeaten 💪🏾Team fought till the end.. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 VAMOS LEGANÉS,” Omeruo tweeted.
Omeruo who is on loan at Leganes from English Premier League side, Chelsea has cemented a place in Mauricio Pellegrino’s team in recent weeks after initially struggling to secure a regular shirt at the club.
The 25-year-old has made nine league appearances for the club, with eight starts and one substitute appearance.
Leganes occupy 16th position in the LaLiga table with 18 points from 16 matches.
