By Johnny Edward:

Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo was the villian in Kasimpasa's 2-0 loss away to Konyaspor as he scored an own goal to condemn his side to their 12th defeat of the season.

It was his first own goal this season.

The Nigerian international playing his 24th game of the campaign beat his goalkeeper Eray Birnican from close range in the 40th minute of the encounter.

Abdou Razack Traore sealed the win  for Konyaspor in the 58th minute.

He has chalked up ten yellow cards this season, his highest ever in five years.

The 23 year old who is in his fourth loan spell away from Chelsea will miss Nigeria's Rio 2016 Olympics Games after he pulled out on account of injury.

Kasimpasa are eight on the log with 44 points from 32 games. They face Mersin İdmanyurdu in their next game on Saturday.
