Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has expressed delight coming up against the likes of Samuel Etoo and Robin van Persie in the Turkish League during his loan spell so far with Kasimpasa.
Omeruo joined the Turkish side from Chelsea during last summer transfer window and has established himself as a first-team regular.
According to Turkish-football.com, Omeruo, who is yet to play for Chelsea, described playing against the big name players as a great experience for him.
“Yes indeed, people like Mario Gomez, Robin van Persie, Nani and Samuel Eto’o. It’s been amazing. It was good coming up against Samuel. We beat his team Antalyaspor 2-1 a few weeks ago and I was happy he didn’t score!,” Omeruo stated.
"I spoke to Samuel before the game and also their coach (former Chelsea assistant) Jose Morais. It was the first time I have had a chance to speak to Samuel since he left Chelsea which was nice."
Meanwhile, Kasimpasa are currently fifth in the Turkish League table.
