A source close to Onazi told Completesportsnigeria.com that the former Lazio SC star has already booked his flight and will hit Lagos aboard a Turkish Airline floght before connecting another flight to Uyo for the much anticipated cracker.
“Onazi will join Super Eagles camp on Monday unfailingly,” the source told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“I can confirm to you that Onazi is looking forward to the game with so much anticipation and had already booked his flight from Istanbul to Lagos to avoid any last minutes delays.
“He will arrive in Lagos on Monday and head straight to Uyo.”
Coach Gernot Rohr has kept faith with most of the 23 players he invited for the Cameroon games in early September as Nigeria prepare for the crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier against Zambia next month.
Nigeria currently lead African qualifying Group B with 10 points while Zambia are second with seven points. A win for Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium will see Nigeria seal a sixth World Cup appearance.
