  • Onazi, I remember 2014,when you were the defensive midfield rock for the Super Eagles; so much so that Blaise Matuidi had to break your leg to neutralise Nigeria’s midfield before 2 goals for France knocked Nigeria out of the World Cup.

That has been arguments in certain quarters whether or not your game has developed, improved and diversified since then.

Today, Ndidi is the name on everyone’s lips.

For me, if nothing else, your experience, exposure and commitment are also vital to the team.

Stay fit and go and do Nigeria proud in Russia.

  • I knw is d man 2 rely on

  • @deo dat was then dis man is getting old likewise u.bt i knw is going 2 WC

  • @Ayo, yes Onazi is getting old but with age comes mature play, wisdom in timing tackles and overall vision and ability to read the game a make key decisions.

Even Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Mersut Ozil are not particularly young. Does that mean they are useless?
