Super Eagles stand in captain Ogenyi Onazi has assured that the team with maintain their unbeaten streak under coach Gernot Rohr as they bid to clinch the 2018 World Cup and 2019 AFCON qualification tickets, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Onazi who featured for 20 minutes before been he was replaced by John Ogu in Thursday's 1-1 draw with Senegal in an international friendly admis that the encounter was an excellent preparation for the Super Eagles who will play five crucial competitive matches later this year.
The Trabzonspor FC of Turkey midfielder states during a meeting at the team’s Crowne Plaza London Ealing hotel in London that he was pleased to see the determination of his teammates.
"I am always delighted anytime I look at the faces of everyone in camp. The determination is real and infectious," Onazi states in a media release made available to Completesportsnigeria.com.
"It is a young and focused group; we all want to qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2018 and the next Africa Cup of Nations.
"We are happy that the NFF President is here and spoken very well, and we want to assure Nigerians that we will keep up the momentum in the World Cup qualifying race and at the same time go all out for the Cup of Nations ticket."
