–One capped striker sure of victory on Saturday
Nigeria striker, Osaguona Ighodaro says Super Eagles have no other mission in Sudan on Saturday than securing the maximum points against their hosts in the crucial AFCON qualifier.
“We’re looking forward to winning the match, that’s our target and we’re determined to get it”, Osaguona told complete Sports on Wednesday.
The Enugu Rangers forward made his international debut for the AFCON champions in the game against South Africa last month.
“It’s a very important game for us so every one of us is doing his best in the training to give his best if picked for the game.”
Admitting that the game will not be a stroll in the park, the former Shooting Stars of Ibadan striker urged Nigerians to stand behind the team so as to achieve the result they want.
“It’s going to be a tough match; Sudan will not want to lose again on their ground so we need all the support from every Nigerian.
“On our part, we are determined, we don’t want to miss defending our African crown next year in Morocco and by the grace of God we’ll get the result we want”, he declared.
