Super Falcons coach Edwin Okon has released his final squad for the FIFA Women’s World Cup taking palce in Canada.

And as expected, newly crowned BBC Woman Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala, Desire Oparanozie, Francisca Ordega, Perpetual Nkwocha and Precious Dede all made the cut.


Also included are Osinachi Ohale, Esther Sunday, Evelyn Nwabuoku,

Halimatu Ayinde, 2013 U-20 sensation Courtney Dike and England-base Ini-Abasi Umotong.

As part of their preparation for the upcoming World Cup, the Falcons played a 0-0 draw against Canada on Monday.

They will take on former world champions USA, Sweden and Australia in the group stage in the World Cup.
