PARTY TIME: Oshoala, Ordega, Dike Celebrate Super Falcons’ AWCON Success

Super Falcons stars Asisat Oshoala, Francesca Ordega and their colleague Courtney Dike have all expressed their delight following the 1-0 win against Cameroon at the final of the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in Yaounde on Saturday, reports.

Desire Oparanozie’s 84th minute goal secured a 1-0 win for the Falcons, giving them a record 10th African title (eighth in tournament format).

Oshoala who won the Golden Boot award stated that she is always focused on winning.

“All I do is win… win no matter what!!” the Arsenal Ladies star wrote on her Twitter handle.

Ordega gave praises to God for the triumph.

She wrote: “Congrats to me and my teammates…All I have to say is thank you God, I give you thanks and praise.”

Dike, who was not part of the squad to Cameroun reserved special praise for four of the players.

“Congratulations to my teammates! AWCON champs once again! Super Falcons, Oshoala, Oparanozie, Ordega, Okobi,” Dike wrote on her handle.

    You gals won the cup, but you all should be disbanded. You played an unimpressive football against the three contestible oponents: Ghana, S. Africa and Cameroun. You had over 10 foreign based players on the team and over 8 on the pitch, but the Camerounians outclassed you. There was no coordination, tactics and shot on goal, even from the foreign based ones. You didn't impress as professionals playing abroad.
