Nigeria women’s football star Asisat Oshoala has been named the brand ambassador of Emzor Paracetamol, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Super Falcons and Arsenal Ladies forward signed a deal two-year deal with the pharmaceutical firm, according to the brand manager of the firm Muyiwa Kayode.
Oshoala will help in promoting the brand for the duration of the deal.
The financial details of the deal were however not revealed by both parties.
An excited Oshoala told Completesportsnigeria.com that she hopes to make more impact in the lives of young kids who need support.
"I feel very happy and excited about this development. This will serve as a motivation and I feel delighted to see that female footballers are now becoming brand ambassadors," Oshoala said.
"This role will help me support the coming kids through the ranks and I hope to achieve a lot with this by getting more kids off the street."
Oshoala who has scored once this term for the Arsenal Ladies is confident the Flamingoes will bounce back from their opening day defeat to Brazil and qualify for the next round of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Jordan.
"They are the future of women's football in Nigeria and I'm confident they will get back to winning ways," she added.
