Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has joined Belgian club, RSC Charleroi. on a season loan deal from VfL Wolfsburg, the player has confirmed to Completesportsnigeria.com.
“I’m happy to have joined Charleroi and I’m looking forward to the new challenge,” Osimhen told CSN on Wednesday.
Osimhen joined VfL Wolfsburg in 2015 after scoring ten goals to help Nigeria win the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile for a record fifth time.
Completesportsnigeria.com also gathered that the salary of the 19-year-old Nigeria striker will be jointly paid by both clubs.
Osimhen who was plagued with injuries shortly after his arrival at Wolfsburg, made 16 league appearances before his loan switch.
RSC Charleroi are currently 11th in the Belgian Pro Division league with three points from four games.
Osimhen could make his debut this weekend against Kortrijk on Saturday after been handed the jersey No.99 at the club.
