Nigerian midfielder John Owoeri believes his Swedish side Atvidabergs can kick-start their Europa league quest with a win against IFK Göteborg tonight.
“We have a chance to qualify for Europe next season,its not going to be easy for any club but we will try to do it,” Owoeri said.
“It would be very, very nice going on a winning streak of ten games to stand a chance.
The fringe Nigerian international has scored four goals in 14 appearances for the club currently eight on the Swedish Allsvenskan division.
“I’m really happy with the season personally, but it’s not finished yet.
“I hope to achieve my target of scoring ten goals this season,” he concluded.
He was most recently with Ismaily SC of Egypt’s Premier League. He only made 13 appearances in his one full season at Ismaily scoring one goal for the club. He had represented Heartland, Warri Wolves and Enyimba.
