While explaining how the sad incident happened, Sunday Ebulu, assistant to the deceased who allegedly witnessed the last moments of the late coach said the gaffer came to work hale and hearty and never gave signs of any health problems.
He said the late Ogungbade was sitting at a distance watching the training session, when he suddenly signaled to people near him and was rushed to the CRIN Health Center.
“After examining him, the Doctor suggested he should be transferred to a bigger clinic for better medical attention and he was confirmed dead at LAD Hospital which was not more than 15 minutes’ drive from Idi-Ayunre where CRIN is situated”, said Ebulu.
