Paddysco Sports Academy Marks 2019 Sports Fiesta And Awards

Thrills and frills greeted the 2019 edition of the Paddysco Sports Academy Sports Fiesta with appreciative parents, guests and fans treated to exquisite sporting and dancing skills from budding talents at their end of the year programme recently held in Lagos.

The sports fiesta which held at the Astroturf Soccer Arena in FESTAC Town provided the platform for the kid stars to showcase some of the skills they’ve learnt to enhance their sporting development while in training during the outgoing year.

As many as 70 kid stars won divers awards in several categories ranging from U-6, U-8, U-10 and U-13 as well as adolescents for their outstanding performances in football, athletics, fitness exercises, ballet dancing and others.
Speaking at the sports exhibition, Paddysco Sports Academy CEO, Peter Okereke said the academy remains in the forefront of helping parents to discover the hidden talents in their children at the tender ages in order to nurture them.

“First, we want to thank all the parents and guidance who believe in what we are doing at Paddysco Sports Academy. We remain focused on our major aim which is talent discovery and nurturing.

“There are divers talents hidden in our God-given children and parents need to make efforts to discover them early even as they are being educated. The good thing is that physical fitness improves mental skill, which impacts on intellectual and academic excellence. They all work hand in hand in the all-round development of the children.

“It has continued to amaze us, as well as several parents, the innate skills and talents inherent in these children, and we can’t afford to ignore the noble responsibility of nurturing them to stardom,” Okereke said adding that the joy of helping the children succeed like those who have traveled abroad overrides the several challenges the academy face.

“It takes a lot of patience to work with kids aside other infrastructural challenges. But when we look back at some of our players who have now blossomed abroad and the joy they bring to their respective families, we know it is worth all the trouble.
