Derbyshire have announced in-form bowler Tony Palladino has signed a new two-year deal. The fast bowler, who is the county’s leading wicket-taker in the County Championship with 49 this season, has penned a contract extension that ties him to the County Ground until 2020.
The 35-year-old believes there is plenty more to come from him and he hopes to build on what’s been a fine season, the highlight being his first 10-wicket match haul when taking 10-81 against Glamorgan earlier this month.
“I’m really enjoying my cricket at the moment and I love playing for Derbyshire. It’s a great club with exciting plans for the coming years and I’m over the moon to have signed a new deal,” he told the club’s website.
“I feel that I still have plenty more to give on the field and I want to help the club compete for more honours.”
