Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini’s agent has rejected talk of a January move to Manchester United. Reports say he has a 30million euros release clause and it was claimed Premier League giants United were interested in activating it in the new year.
Manchester united are currently ready to boost there mid field with this new prospect to increase there chances for a top four finish this season.
However, his agent, Giampiero Pocetta, says his client has no interest in the “rumours” and distanced himself from talk he could end up at Old Trafford in January. “If I have to talk about Lorenzo right now the only thing I can talk about is his extraordinary form,” Pocetta told Corriere dello Sport. “He’s getting what he deserves on the pitch and the rumours about the transfer market have never distracted him nor disturbed him. “Pellegrini is only thinking about improving with and for Roma.”

He added: “Manchester United? I’m sorry that rumours have spread about financial aspects relating to him and his team-mates, it doesn’t matter for Lorenzo. He doesn’t live for meetings, especially financial ones. “These issues don’t count for now, it’s normal that Pellegrini is liked. Lorenzo is happy, though, he’s already chosen Roma once.”
