Jordan Pickford has signed a new six-year deal with Everton and says he wants to establish himself as a club “legend”.
The keeper joined the Toffees from Sunderland last year and enjoyed an impressive debut campaign at Goodison Park, having been named as the club’s player of the year before establishing himself as England’s number one at the World Cup in Russia.
“Hopefully, we can get the success for the fans to earn the right to be a legend at Everton one day, each and every one of us,” Pickford said.
“I want to play as many games as I can for the club, that’s my goal now.”
He added: “When I made the move last year I thought Everton would be a great club to come to and the right step in my career.

“Hopefully, I can continue to progress, become a better goalkeeper each and every day and keep that England number one shirt as well.”
Pickford has been capped 11 times by England to date and seems set to be manager Gareth Southgate’s number one for the foreseeable future if he can maintain his form at club level.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
