Glo Nigerian Premier League champions, Kano Pillars, and last season's runners-up Enyimba both moved up the log on Sunday after bagging impressive victories away from home.
Pillrs defeated Abia Warriors 1-0 in Umuahia while Enyimba beat Dolphins 2-1 in Port Harcourt to account for the two away victories of week nine.
In the battle between two former powerhouses in Ibadan, Enugu Rangers were pegged back for a 1-1 draw by Shooting Stars after the visitors had taken the lead.
