Pillars Name Babaganaru New Coach

Glo Premier League Champions, Kano Pillars, have announced the appointment of Mohammed Babaganaru as their new head coach.

Babaganaru who recently resigned from similar post at Nasarawa United rejoined the club he led to the title two seasons ago.

He beat off strong competition from ertswhile Super Eagles assistant coach, Daniel Amokachi, former Flying Eagles coach, Manu Garba and Bulgarian tactician, Mitko Dobrev to get the job.

His immediate task will be to revive the club’s faltering title hopes.

The Sai Masu Gida are nine points adrift of leaders Sunshine Stars.

Okey Emordi, the man who had succeeded Babaganaru at Pillars, was recently sacked due to club’s poor performance in the first stanza of the league.

Babaganaru’s first game in chaege of the side will be their home fixture against Lobi Stars on Sunday at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
