–Ahead CAF Champions League clash with Al-Malaika
Nigeria league champions Kano Pillars plan to train in Ghana before they play their CAF Champions League preliminary tie against Al-Malaika of South Sudan next month.
Pillars are slated to take on Al-Malaika on February 15 with the return leg in Kano a fortnight later.
According to ghanasoccernet.com, a member of the Pillars continental committee, Abba Yola, disclosed Pillars will train in Ghana as part of their preparations for the Champions League.
They are expected to fly the country’s flag on the continent with former two-time CAF Champions League winners Enyimba.
Pillars will also feature in a pre-season Super 4, which has been expanded to take on Nigeria U20 and U23s. The tournament starts on January 22 in Abuja.
