The President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick has revealed that coach Sunday Oliseh's health is improving.
The Nigeria Football Federation's official Twitter handle quoted Pinnick on Thursday as giving an assurance on the former Nigeria captain's full recovery.
"He is getting better. Any human being can break down. I speak to the doctors and we are confident he will be back on his feet soon," Pinnick said.
And ahead of next year's 2018 World Cup and 2017 Cup of Nations qualifiers, the NFF boss stated that Oliseh has been keeping tabs on Nigerian players in their various clubs.
"Oliseh is in touch with every good Nigerian player everywhere. We are working to ensure we qualify for 2017 AFCON as well."
He also commented on FC Taraba players who have been involved in a peaceful protest following 11 months of unpaid salaries.
"The way forward is to make the clubs independent of government. It has to be a process. We will engage the Governor's forum."Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
