Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says he does not get bored about stories linking him with big moves – but admits his chairman does not agree.
The Argentine tactician has established himself as one of the most highly-rated managers currently working in the Premier League after spells with Southampton and now Spurs.
Pochettino has been linked with a number of big jobs, including roles at Manchester United and La Liga giants Real Madrid.
The Spurs boss says he is happy in north London and laughs off the speculation, but he feels chairman Daniel Levy does not see the funny side.
Pochettino said: “I don’t get bored (about reading them), but he (Levy) maybe is worried, he is concerned. “But it’s normal. It’s not nice for Daniel to hear all that history.
“It’s like in football, when appear the sporting director or the president and say, ‘No, no, no. The manager is going to be here. We trust in him.’ The next game, lose the game, out! “If you reassure something it’s because you are thinking in different (ways). He’s a worry, man! That is different. He suffers.”Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
