Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has expressed disappointment following his side’s 2-2 draw against 10-man Arsenal in the North London derby.
Spurs took advantage of Francis Coquelin sending off, going 2-1 up thanks to goals from Toby Alderwereld and Harry Kane.
But Alexis Sanchez rescued a point for Arsenal, scoring with 15 minutes remaining.
Pochettino however hailed the performance of his team.
“We started well and dominated and were unlucky to concede and it was difficult after that,” Pochettino said.
“When we scored our second goal we were in a great position. The feeling in the end isn’t so good but we need to be proud.
“Sometimes against 10 it’s difficult. We’re a little disappointed. We need to be proud and pleased with the effort of the players.”
