Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo, made his fourth pre-season appearance for English Championship club, Stoke City who went down to a 2-0 defeat to German side, St Pauli on Saturday, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.
It was the Etebo’s first start for the Potters in pre-season outing and he played the entire duration of the game.
Moller Daehli and Jon-Marc Schneider got the goals for St Pauli in the encounter.
Etebo and his teammates will now look forward to the start of the new season next weekend when they will face Leeds United in their opening day clash.
At the St Andrews Park , Leon Balogun replaced Ben Dunk in the 74th minute as Brighton & Hove Albion battled their hosts Birmingham City to a 1-1 draw.
Mikel Keftenbeld gave Birmingham the lead a minute after the half hour mark.
New signing Yves Bissouma equalised for the visitors from a free kick on the dot of 90 minutes.
Isaac Success proved his fitness worries are now behind him by featuring for 90 minutes in Watford’s 2-1 win against Brentford.
Ollie Watkins put Brentford ahead in the fourth minute but an own goal by Henrik Dalsgaard and and a superb strike from Andre Gray gave the Hornets the win.

I’m so happy for Nassarra. He seems to be coming back to full fitness and form. The only thing that was missing from the SuperEagles at the Mundial was the intimidating factor in the final third which I’m absolutely certain that with Nassarra Success coming back to form, he could be the missing piece in that aspect.
