Prime football club of Osogbo, Osun State Nigeria will appoint a substantive head coach between Wednesday and Thursday this week, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
Coaches Shina Afolabi and Deji Ayeni have been working on assistant coaches capacity at the club in the last couple of seasons.
The duo had been assistants to fomer head coach, Samuel Abimbola who parted company with the second tier Nigerian league side recently.
"Since Abimbola left, the pair of Ayeni and Afolabi have remained in the capacity of assistant coaches in the club," an official of the club old Completesportsnigeria.com.
"Now, the club want to name one of them as substantive head coach, and hopefully, between Wednesday and Thursday the announcement will be made," the official said while craving for anonymity.
Prime will begin preparation for the 2015/2016 Nigeria National League, NNL, season on Monday February 8 with open screening in Osogbo.
