PSG Bounce Back From Real Madrid Defeat, Stretch Ligue 1 Lead

Edison Cavani scored a brace as Paris Saint-Germain(PSG) bounced back from Wednesday’s Champions League defeat at Real Madrid and increased their lead at the top of the French Ligue 1 table to 12 points following a 5-2 win against Strasbourg at the Parc des Princes on Saturday.
Jean Aholou gave Strasbourg a surprise lead in the sixth minute after he was set up by Kenny Lala.
It took only four minutes for the hosts to level scores with Julian Draxler netting the equaliser.
PSG went ahead for the first time in the game in the 21st minute through Neymar, while Angel Di Maria added the third a minute later.
Stephan Bahoken and Nuno Da Costa combined to reduce the deficit in the 67th minute with the former firing into the net.
Edison Cavani fired a quick brace in the 73rd and 79th minutes to help PSG maintain their dominance in the game.
