Paris Saint-Germain bounced back from their midweek Champions League defeat to Real Madrid by thrashing Metz 5-0 in a French Ligue 1 clash at the Parc de Princes on Saturday.
PSG who are now on course to win back the title from Monaco now sit at the top of the standings with 77 points, 13 more than the champions.
Christopher Nkunku (brace), Thomas Muenier, Kylian Mbappe and Thiago Silva were all on target for Unai Emery’s men.
Thomas Meunier scored the opener for the hosts in the fifth minute with Nkunku netting his brace in the 20th and 28th minutes respectively.
Frenchman Mbappe scored the fourth goal in first half added time.
Thiago Silva scored PSG’s fifth of the game eight minutes from time.
