Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race to sign Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho. The 18-year-old has scored four goals and provided six assists this season, leading to reports linking some of Europe’s most powerful clubs with a move.
Manchester United are reported to be in the box seat to do a deal, but fresh rumours have now surfaced suggesting that PSG are keen to get him on board.
Sancho has also earned his first England cap and it appears to be a matter of time before the big offers start coming in for the forward. However, Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc says he is confident Sancho will stay at the club despite growing interest.
“I’m pretty sure Jadon will be playing with us for some time,” he said when quizzed about the speculation surrounding his future.
Meanwhile, the player also appears to be in no rush to move on and is happy to carry on with the Bundesliga side. “You can see that right now, I play a lot here,” he said. “This is important for young players to develop. You never know what will happen in the future, but I’m really happy right now.”Copyright © 2022 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
