PSG’s Aurier Sentenced to Two Months in Prison

Cote d’Ivoire and Paris Saint-Germain defender, Serge Aurier, has been sentenced to two months in prison for violence against a police officer.

The incident took place outside a night club near Paris on May 30, 2016.

According to thesun.co.uk, he has also been handed a £521 fine and ordered to pay £1,300 in court costs.

Because it is a ‘convertible’ sentence, the 23-year-old will perform community service rather than spend time in prison.

Aurier will however appeal the sentence.

The Ivorian will be available for Unai Emery as PSG travel to Bulgaria for their UEFA Champions League group match against Ludogorets.
