Leicester boss Claude Puel is confident Jamie Vardy is now over his groin issues ahead of the clash with Manchester City. The former England international made a goalscoring return at Chelsea on Saturday as the Foxes secured a 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge.
Vardy had missed several games in previous weeks due to a groin issue, with Puel leaving him out of the EFL Cup clash with the Citizens in midweek.

City will return to King Power Stadium on Wednesday and Puel insists the striker is improving after being closely monitored by the club’s medical staff.
He told the club’s official website: “Jamie showed it was behind him, this injury. We managed to keep him fit with all his possibilities and his attributes. He can play in his best way and that’s the most important thing.
“I’ve said before how important it is to manage our players. We have a busy period with tough games to prepare, an exciting game now, but it’s important to take the right decisions. “Jamie has showed his quality and he came back at a fantastic level.”
Puel has refused to confirm if he will start the clash with City and he should have no fresh injury concerns with Matty James and Daniel Amartey the only long-term absentees.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
