Pulis Admits West Brom Will Host ‘Fantastic’ Watford Saturday

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has hailed a "fantastic" Watford side who he said have shocked most critics.

Both sides will face each other in a 3pm kick off at the Hawthorns on Saturday and Pulis spoke to the media in his press conference on Friday morning.

"Watford have been absolutely fantastic. They were people's favourites to go down but they are safe and in FA Cup semi-final," the BBC quotes the manager.

"The next target for us is to try to beat last year's tally of points. It's always nice to finish the season on a good note."

"We played well against Manchester City. We were disappointed to lose the game (2-1).

On Gareth McAuley and Jonas Olsson who have signed new deals, Pulis saluted the duo on their professionalism.

"They are great pros and great lads. They're great role models for the academy lads to follow.

"The fact Gareth is 37 next birthday shows the level of fitness players can get to. You have to be dedicated to reach that," the former Stoke boss said.
