Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot is not a target for Premier League outfit Liverpool. Rabiot is due to fall out of contract with PSG at the end of the season and it remains to be seen whether or not he will agree fresh terms in the French capital.
Liverpool had been tipped to take advantage of the situation and it had been speculated the Anfield club could attempt to reach a pre-contract agreement with the playmaker in the January transfer window.
The latest speculation indicates those reports are wide of the mark, however, as Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is happy with his current options and doesn’t see strengthening his midfield as a priority.
PSG could still face a battle to retain Rabiot regardless of whether or not Liverpool make a move as it is understood there is interest from Serie A in the 23-year-old, who has started all four of the French giants’ Ligue 1 fixtures so far this season.
