Nigerian midfielder Raheem Lawal has been ruled out for three weeks with injury, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The 26-year-old was replaced after 37 minutes by Mehmet Guven in Osmanlıspor's 2-2 draw at home to Villarreal in a Europa League fixture on Thursday and results of a scan revealed that he injured his back muscle.
Lawal who last featured for the Super Eagles in their friendlies against Luxemborg and Mali earlier in the year will miss Osmanlıspor's clashes against Kasimpasa, Gaziantepspor, Villarreal and Kayserispor.
Barring any setback, the former Eskişehirspor player will return to action against Kenneth Omeruo's Alanyaspor on the 11th of November.
Lawal has made only one appearance for Osmanlıspor in the Turkish elite division and has featured eight times for the club in the UEFA Europa League.
